Proposed Quarry at Land West of Roughetts Road
We emailed residents on 31st August 2023Public Consultation Leaflet 10_05_24 deadline, after receiving a letter about a proposal for a quarry to the west of Rougetts Road. All papers are available on the Parish Council website www.ryarsh-pc.gov.uk
Before a planning application is made, Waterman Infrastructure and Environment stated that a formal public consultation will be undertaken ahead of the submission of any planning application for the development.
The attached leaflet is about that formal public consultation. Replies are due by FRIDAY 10TH MAY 2024 to consultation@landwestofroughettsroad.co.uk.
The Parish Council recommends that you reply, stating that you object.
No other action is required at this stage, but it is important that many objections are logged.
The Parish Council will be writing to Kent County Council, who are the minerals planning authority, to complain that this is not a full public consultation, and the short time to reply means that some residents will not have the opportunity to respond.
